Mr. Thomas Kaeding is a former United State Air Force Pararescue Specialist (PJ), inventor, and owner of T60,Inc. A company primarily focused on researching and developing life saving products for search and rescue. In addition to developing the portable, collapsible IEW, Thomas has also designed and built the Day/Night Water jump wind drift indicator listed above. The submersible high visibility strobe light for waterborne parachute operations displayed above was designed with hopes to replace or supplement chemical glow sticks used presently. Thomas works closely with current and former SOF personnel to understand present and future challenges and develop, design, and build specialized equipment solutions for the SOF and rescue communities. The IEW (Individual Electric Watercraft)
To overcome the challenges associated with existing waterborne deployments, a portable, foldable, electric powered watercraft has been designed to support and complement other SOF watercraft and marine transportation. The Individual Electric Watercraft (IEW) enables SOF swimmers to operate rapidly and independently from other marine transportation when deployed into an aquatic environment. An individual or Team can deploy ( Parachute Or Helicopter) closer to an area of operation and move quickly on the waters surface to an objective.
The IEW (Individual Electric Watercraft) is a multipurpose, rapidly deployed one-man collapsible water jet propelled device. The IEW can be folded and unfolded in seconds and deployed immediately. Day/Night Water Wind-drift Indicator
The T60 WDI is an all in one solution for Day and Night parachute water deployments. The WDI has been designed to utilize an “off the shelf” spotter chute as well as an “off the shelf” MK-25 Marine smoke for daytime deployments.
The WDI is shipped with a re-chargeable high intensity LED strobe for night deployments The installation of the strobe or MK-25 smoke requires no tools. The WDI has fully adjustable ballast so smaller or larger and cheaper canopies may be utilized in the future. Post deployment cleanup only requires a fresh water rinse.
Each WDI is shipped with an extra battery and a charger so there’s always a fresh, fully charged battery ready for use. Each off the shelf 18650 lithium-Ion battery will provide a minimum of 600-650 recharges. Please contact us with any questions.

T60’s line of waterproof, multi use lights originated with the requirement for an extreme high output light source for our WDI. We took the knowledge gained from designing and manufacturing the WDI strobe and built a line of waterproof (tested to a depth of 2000’) strobes and lights. Durability, small size and simplicity were the core characteristics of these lights. The white “only” light has 20 user adjustable modes.
The Red, Green and white model was initially designed to augment or possibly replace chemical glow sticks presently in use. The RGW light has 7 brightness modes and 1 strobe mode. Each light ships with an extra battery and charger so there’s always a fresh battery waiting. Batteries are standard lithium -Ion rechargeable cells available on our website.
